Thursday, July 30 to Saturday, August 1 2009

Washington DC trip.

My Wife Agnieszka, her sister Edyta, my friend Sebastian and I went to Washington DC for a ride over museums.

We leave Copiageu Thursday at 5:00am, and came back Saturday at 9:30pm. We traveled 717 miles, use 24.959 gallons of regular gasolin :) What gave me 28 miles per gallon. I like it.

It cost about 160$ per person.

As a output I collected 1337 images from 3 cameras. Canon sd640, Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 and Nikon D40 with SB400 and warming gel on it.

Day #1, Thursday July, 30 2009

We starded at parking lot next to Franklin Roosvelt Memorial. Then we went to Jefferson Memorial, and later to Washington Monument. After that we saw White House.

That was such a sunny day, so we started looking for some shade, and find it in National Aqualium. Aquarium by itself is realy small, and exept feeding piranias wasn't interesting. It was quick visit.

After that we ware burned by sun so badly, that we decided to go back to the hotel, and rest before new day.

Day #2, Friday July, 31 2009

We started at National Museum of the American Indians, and we all like it a lot.

After that we went to U.S. Botanic Garden. I never saw that many different plants. I'm not a big fan of 'greens' but that was realy amzing.

Then we came in to a National Air and Space Museum. I love it. That was like my dreams land on earth LOL. It is just incredable.

Next we went to Hishhorn Museum. I call it Museun of Not Normal Art. It is something wrong with exhibits overe there. We did't like it.

After that we went to National Museum of Natural History, that compare to American Museum of Natural History in New York City is inferior.

Then we went to Smithsonian Institution Castle. We found there a little bit of every museum around. Something like invitation to see every single one.

There we finished our dayli trips. We went back to the hotel, but in the evening we came back to city and make some more interesting pictures.

Day #3, Saturday, August 1 2009

That day we have only two targets. Home and Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

In this museum I would probably spend a week, just walking around, reading about all those flying machines and their equipment, looking at them and making pictures. But Agnieszka didn't feel same way LOL!!

Way back to home was not a pleasant at all. Two times we spend a lot of time in the traffic. I was a driver so it was not boring for me, but my pasangers at the end of trip were upset and crunky.

Fortunetly we finaly came back to Long Island and went sleap.
